Job summary

Foxwood Springs is hiring a Maintenance Tech on a full-time basis, with a 8:00am-4:30pm Monday–Friday schedule. The role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs across interior and exterior facilities, emphasizing safety and compliance within a healthcare community.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years healthcare maintenance experience, and strong communication skills to interact with Residents and staff. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Perform general operating maintenance, service, and repair of interior and exterior of the facility in accordance with standards and policies.
• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests by Residents for items needing repairs in their rooms, including plumbing, electrical, heating and lighting.

A typical day for a Maintenance Tech includes:

• Performing the general operating maintenance, service, and repair of the interior and exterior of the facility, in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards/regulations and company policies
• Maintaining scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on, but not limited to: HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment
• Responding to maintenance requests by Residents for items needing repairs in their rooms, including repairing plumbing, electrical, heating and replacing light bulbs

Maintenance Tech Requirements:

• High school Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Three to Five years Health Care experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of building equipment, building codes and building systems (HVAC, plumbing and electrical) in health care facilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents and their family members, and associates at all levels of the organization
