Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Cameron Creek community in Galloway, OH. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and address resident requests to keep systems running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma, hands-on maintenance experience, and a willingness to learn. You must be a team player, dependable, and able to work after-hours or weekends when needed; EPA/HVAC

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are a plus; willingness to learn and grow.
• Hands-on maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.
• Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.
• Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.
• Perform snow and ice removal.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies. Weekend work is required.
• Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician

What You’ll Do:
