Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service our Cameron Creek community in Galloway, OH. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and respond to resident requests to keep units in top condition.

The role requires hands-on experience, a can-do attitude, and willingness to participate in after-hours calls and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Hands-on maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on property systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.
• Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist with on-call rotation and after-hours maintenance emergencies.

As a Maintenance Technician at Flaherty & Collins Properties, you’ll have the chance to showcase your skills, tackle a variety of tasks, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.What You'll Do:Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition.Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations.Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents.Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.Perform snow and ice removal.Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.
