Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Cameron Creek in Galloway, OH. The role focuses on routine and preventative maintenance, plus promptly addressing resident requests to keep units move-in ready.

You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize tasks, ensure safety, and manage tool inventories. HVAC and electrical repairs are core, with after-hours availability as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are a plus.
• Hands-on maintenance experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.

• You're detail-oriented and prideful in delivering high-quality work.
• You're proactive and able to handle after-hours or weekend emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks across property systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems.
• Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to complete work orders.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain organized inventory of tools and supplies.
• Assist with apartment turnovers and move-ins.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.

What You'll Do:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition.

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.

Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.

Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.

Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.

Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations.

Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.

Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents.

Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.

Perform snow and ice removal.

Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies. Weekend work is required as needed.

Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.
