Looking for an environment unlike any other? You’ve come to the right place! Dawson is currently staffing a Maintenance Technician position in Columbus, Ohio.

What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee all repairs and troubleshooting of equipment failure
• Monitor to make certain that safety features on equipment are used properly
• Communicate with production staff to maintain efficiency of operations
• Recommend equipment upgrades, improvements and/ or new purchases
• Provide reports to the Maintenance Manager and/or Plant Manager concerning any equipment-related issues that may interfere with plant operations
• Manage the Maintenance Storage Room inventories and purchasing activities to ensure the highest level possible of planning effectiveness
• Conduct selective monthly inventory of parts and supplies, and compare with computerized inventory
• Order parts and supplies and oversee barcode scanning of parts inventory
• Problem solve and address operational troubleshooting questions as they arise
• Other maintenance or general labor duties as assigned

Who we’re looking for:

• Basic hand and specialized tools

• Good electrical knowledge

• Adhere to all safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines
• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical certifications in electrical or mechanical fields preferred, but not required
