Job summary

MAXX Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service multiple apartment communities and perform preventive maintenance. You will respond to resident requests, assist with vacancies, and support on-call emergency work to ensure quality living spaces.

We value a hands-on, team-oriented approach. The role includes boots/tools and tuition reimbursements, generous PTO, sick time carryover, rental discounts, and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repairs and general maintenance skills.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.
• Energetic, responsible and organized.
• A true team-player mentality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist in preparing vacant apartments to a market ready condition.
• Respond to resident service requests (light bulb changes, minor HVAC, caulking, appliance repairs, filter changes, etc.).
• Perform on-call emergency service as required.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor on special maintenance projects as needed.
• Assist with keeping grounds and common areas free of trash and debris.
