Job summary

Landrum Workforce Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer for Maintenance Operations in Pensacola, Florida. The role involves creating and maintaining technical documentation to support organizational operations with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance environments and the ability to interpret OEM manuals and technical drawings. Responsibilities include developing, reviewing, and updating user manuals, PM work orders, and job

Qualifications

Ability to meet physical demands of a maintenance function, including climbing and bending.
Ability to interpret OEM manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in industrial environments.
Familiarity with Maximo or CMMS platforms preferred.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

Develop, review, and update user manuals, PM work orders, job plans, and technical documentation within the Maximo CMMS.
Review and validate maintenance instructions against OEM manuals and specifications.
Validate labor estimates and task sequencing for field execution.
Revise documentation to align with OEM procedures and internal standards.
Produce clear, structured technical content to improve readability of maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with maintenance techs and engineers to gather information and validate updates.
Support data entry, document control, and configuration management in Maximo.
Document technical activities and prepare detailed reports.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of all content per standards and best practices.
