Job summary

Stoneridge Creek Pleasanton is seeking a Maintenance Tech to care for the physical plant, perform preventive maintenance, routine servicing, and seasonal repairs.

You will handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs, assist with HVAC systems, and maintain pools and water features, while delivering excellent resident service.

This full-time role requires attention to detail, safety, and the ability to work independently or in a team in a senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; technical schooling preferred.
• 3–5 years maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, painting in a complex environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; basic HVAC understanding.
• Able to operate hand and power tools; good English and arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance systems.
• Complete apartment turnovers with minor repairs and touchups.
• Maintain pools and water features; participate in on-call duties.
• Provide excellent resident service and safety guidance.
