StoryPoint West Chester is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair duties across our properties. This role requires weekend and holiday work, and occasional extended hours outdoors in varying weather conditions. You will collaborate with multiple departments to deliver high-quality service to residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or related technical schooling preferred.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical; drywall and painting experience essential.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals; write routine reports.
• Ability to apply common sense to instructions and handle problems with concrete variables.
• You love to laugh and have fun while working hard to provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Operates various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and safe condition that meets safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.
• Maintains a positive Customer Service attitude in interactions with staff and property residents.
