Job summary

Jenners Pond Inc in West Grove, PA is seeking a General Maintenance technician to join our facilities team. The role covers routine inspections, repairs across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and prompt response to resident maintenance requests.

You will implement preventive maintenance tasks, keep detailed records, and collaborate with various departments to ensure safety and reliability of the living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as Maintenance Technician II or similar.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of community facilities and grounds.
• Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems as needed.
• Address resident requests for maintenance promptly and efficiently.
• Implement scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to ensure longevity of equipment and facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance activities and repairs.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to emergency maintenance issues outside regular hours.
• Coordinate with maintenance team and other departments to prioritize tasks.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report significant findings to supervisor.
• Adhere to safety protocols and stay updated on industry standards.
