Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures; write routine reports.
Teamwork with ability to work across departments and with staff.

Responsibilities

Operates various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with team members.
Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to the supervisor.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and safe condition that meets safety regulations.
Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and building or grounds as required.
Maintains a positive customer service attitude in interactions with staff and residents.
