Job summary

Grace Haven Assisted Living and Memory Care in Arizona is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair duties. The part-time role requires flexibility for weekends and holidays and involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions while collaborating with other staff to provide excellent service.

You will operate tools safely, conduct preventative maintenance, and report issues promptly, maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or some college credits; related experience acceptable.
• Proficient in general apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural and appliance repair.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals; write routine reports.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and adapt to various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operates various types of tools and equipment safely.
• Maintain effective working relationships with team members.
• Identify and report broken equipment to supervisor.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and safe.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and building/grounds.
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude with staff and residents.

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or some college credits from a technical school; or one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
