Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance/handyman experience in senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel settings.
• Broad maintenance skillset including HVAC, drywall, carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, painting, floor care.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with good time management.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset.
• Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals, tools, and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, basic repairs).
• Ensure repairs and service orders are completed promptly following safety standards.
• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Repair vacated rooms and prepare for new residents.
• Keep common areas walls, floors, doors, and woodwork well-maintained.
• Monitor and manage maintenance supplies and inventory.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Coordinate with fire marshal/building inspectors and other authorities as required.
• Work within local/state codes and regulations.
