Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus related experience or training.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair; drywall and painting experience is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions; handle problems with several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Operates various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and safe condition that meets safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.
• Maintains a positive Customer Service attitude in interactions with staff and residents.
