Job summary

Grace Haven Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across the facility, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks. The role requires the ability to work weekends/holidays and outdoors in various weather conditions, with teamwork across departments.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, read and interpret safety rules, and write routine reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or some college credits; or related experience or training.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair; drywall repairs and painting experience.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedures; write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Operates various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to supervisor.
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and safe condition per regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and building/grounds.
• Maintains a positive customer service attitude in interactions with staff and residents.
