Job summary

Grace Haven Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician (Mon, Wed, Fri 8am–4:30pm) to perform general maintenance and repair duties across the community. This role requires teamwork, the ability to work outdoors in different weather, and a commitment to safety and resident comfort; you will support HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building systems as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or some college credits; or related experience.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical; drywall and painting essential.
• Ability to read safety rules and write routine reports.
• Apply common sense to follow written or verbal instructions; solve problems.
• You love to laugh and provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with team members.
• Identify and report broken equipment to supervisor.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and safe per regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and building as required.
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude with staff and residents.
