Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building interiors and exteriors meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, coordinate make-ready tasks, and assist with groundskeeping and safety procedures.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and adherence to onsite policies. Competitive benefits and a robust bonus program may apply for full-time on-site staff.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state/local certifications required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property per policies and safety standards.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins, including inspections and scheduling.
• Obtains materials from maintenance, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation to track service requests accurately.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning, and supports cost-saving measures.
• Assists in safety compliance and may inspect contractor work for quality.

Education
