Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and improve manufacturing equipment and facility systems for safe, efficient plant operations in Jackson, TN. You will work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.

The role includes performing PMs, repairs, and installations, reading schematics, and ensuring safety and GMP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years in manufacturing or technical school preferred.
• Associates degree or technical institute training preferred.
• Proficiency with Office 365, JDE and Coast systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all Plant Equipment and Facilities including production, quality, scrap, housekeeping and safety results.
• Perform PM’s, cleans and lubricates molding machines and equipment.
• Modify, repair, and rebuild plant machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Visually inspect machines to locate malfunctions and measure wear or misalignment.
• Document repairs and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Install new equipment or relocate existing equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics for maintenance tasks.
