Job summary

Amcor in Jackson, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient plant operations. You will work with production and maintenance teams performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.

You will document repairs and support GMP and safety standards while contributing to plant and departmental goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• Ability to read schematics and equipment manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to front line leadership of Lead Technician.
• Work as a team member to achieve plant and departmental goals.
• Maintain all Plant Equipment and Facilities including safety results.
• Perform PMs, cleans and lubricates molding machines and equipment.
• Modify, repair and rebuild plant machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Visually inspect machines to locate malfunctions and wear.
• Document repairs and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
