Job summary

Owens Corning in Jackson, TN is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. The role requires experience with PLCs, SAP work orders, and preventive maintenance.

You will also support TPM activities and train others while upholding 5-S discipline across the shop floor. This full-time on-site position offers opportunities to contribute to uptime, safety, and continuous improvement, with compensation dependent

Qualifications

One year certificate from college or technical school with 2 years of working experience, or 5 years documented related experience.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
Ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra/geometry.
Experience with database software (SAP Maintenance Module), email, MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems (pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics).
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, power systems, and electrical distribution.
Support Preventive Maintenance tasks and train others.
Participate in TPM and maintain 5-S standards in assigned areas.
