Job summary
Amcor in Jackson, Tennessee is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lead to supervise maintenance staff across shifts, ensure safety and quality compliance, and keep manufacturing equipment and facility systems running reliably for safe, efficient operations.
You will coordinate preventative maintenance, review daily inspections, assist with fault diagnosis, and provide hands-on support for mechanical, hydraulic, PLC, and electrical repairs while promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent; technical school preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
- Experience with hydraulic, PLC, and electrical machine repairs.
- Negative drug screen and safety-focused work approach.
Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance staff during shifts and coordinate tasks.
- Review daily inspections and complete maintenance paperwork.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and oversee PMs and WOs.
- Hands-on repair, troubleshooting, and parts replacement.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment per GMP and ISO standards.
- Audit and implement corrective actions on maintenance issues.
