Job summary

Dessert Holdings seeks a highly skilled Maintenance Technician IV for the weekend shift. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing complex manufacturing equipment, including power transmission components.

You will troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with Engineering on improvement projects. HACCP and forklift license are required, with weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

10+ years of industrial mechanical experience or a two-year technical degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical power transmission systems and equipment alignment.
Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Must have own tools; tools must be on site within two weeks of hire.
HACCP certification and forklift license required.

Responsibilities

Establish, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment throughout production areas.
Identify and repair electrical and mechanical defects.
Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic systems and process controls.
Read electrical diagrams and schematics to guide maintenance actions.
Perform preventative maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
Install and align gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and chains.
Document maintenance activities in the CMMS system.
Train operators on maintenance techniques when needed.
Collaborate with Engineering on non-routine repairs and improvements.
Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices.
