Job summary

Tecumseh in Verona, MS is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on old and new machines, including pneumatics and hydraulics. You will read electrical diagrams for troubleshooting and follow preventive maintenance programs while maintaining a safe work environment in cold or hot conditions.

The candidate should have an Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electricity, or HVAC or equivalent experience, with strong written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical and mechanical maintenance on machines, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Reads electrical diagrams for troubleshooting.
• Follows PM programs, documents procedures, andIdentifies improvements.
• Maintains safe work environment in extreme temperatures.
• Collaborates with team; takes direction and asks questions as needed.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs electrical and mechanical maintenance on old and new machines, plus maintenance of pneumatic & hydraulic systems
• Ability to read electrical diagram for troubleshooting
• Familiarity with p.m. programs (identify, documentation, procedures)
• Able to work in cold or hot conditions while maintaining a safe work environment
• Ability to take instruction with a ‘can do’ attitude, but willing to ask questions as needed

Qualification & Education Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electricity, or HVAC preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• Experience – Relevant or similar experience preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Analytical Skills – Ability to read a plan and have the mental acuity to discern the proper procedure to follow for each unit.
• Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work safely, follow all safety rules and lead by example.
• Must be able to maintain good and regular attendance.
• Must be available for mandatory overtime.

Pay Range:
