Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking a Maintenance Technician IV to ensure optimal performance and reliability of production equipment in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include maintenance, repair, and PLC programming to support continuous operations.

Applicants should have 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, PLC controls expertise, welding ability, and knowledge of GMP/SQF standards. Shift: 6a-6p Fri-Sun with competitive pay and full medical benefits.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or comparable experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and standard practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving across multiple systems.
  • Electrical expertise, including PLC programming and controls.
  • Ability to weld (TIG, MIG, and Stick).
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician IV plays a critical role in ensuring optimal performance and reliability of production equipment. This position is responsible for maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery, including electrical systems and PLC programming, to support continuous and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to production requests and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
  • Prepare requisitions for tools, parts, and supplies needed for equipment upkeep.

  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards to deliver products that exceed customer expectations.

  • SAP system experience.

Hours 6a-6p Fri-Sun

Competitive pay based on experience and full medical benefits

Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
