Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Tech for our onsite manufacturing environment to maintain production equipment, support SQF, HACCP, and GMP compliance, and ensure food safety and quality across lines.

You will diagnose electrical issues, read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and train junior staff. Strong PLC, drive, motor knowledge, and willingness to work nights/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals.
• 5+ years of electrical maintenance in manufacturing is preferred.
• Familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices.
• Willing to train junior employees and work with QA.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical components on production equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and PLC I/O layouts.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to the master PM schedule.
• Provide technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting.
• Ensure safety and food quality per SQF/HACCP/GMP policies.
