Job summary

QuickStaff Contingent Workforce Solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a weekend shift in a food manufacturing facility. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and maintaining HVAC, chillers, and compressed air systems.

Strong knowledge of electrical, PLCs, and reading blueprints is required, with GMP/HACCP familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

2 years of maintenance experience; food industry preferred.
5 years of comparable maintenance experience.
Mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, PLCs and pneumatics required.
Read blueprints/schematics and technical manuals.
GMP/HACCP knowledge preferred; team-oriented in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including presses, conveyors, mixers and packaging machines.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
Maintain HVAC, chillers, dryers and compressed air systems.
Support sanitation and food safety compliance.
Document maintenance activities using CMMS.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet standards.
Follow up on maintenance tasks for resolution with key internal customers.
