Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a maintenance technician to set up, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, automation and related equipment. You will document work in CMMS, mentor junior staff, and lead small project tasks including basic carpentry and plumbing as needed.

The role requires 5 years of experience with machinery repair, forklift, conveyor systems, and the ability to travel up to 10% for business purposes. A strong safety mindset and PLC troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of experience with forklift, conveyor and general equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting complex equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and ad-hoc repairs on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot out of service equipment and escalate as needed; maintain maintenance log.
• Document all work in CMMS and maintain records of operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC, etc.
• Mentor maintenance personnel and assist when two-person tasks required.
• Carry out facility/building project work and basic carpentry/plumbing tasks as assigned.
• Assemble and test equipment to verify proper operation and production.
• Analyze production delays and determine corrective actions for equipment malfunctions.
• Oversee junior engineers' maintenance and provide guidance.
