Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to set up, adjust, and perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, automation, robotics, and related equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and document activities to ensure safe and efficient production.

The role requires at least 3 years in equipment repair, PLC familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Occasional travel within and outside the state is expected, with opportunities for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
• Fundamental understanding of machinery/equipment.
• Basic skill level in multiple computer software packages including Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with inputs, outputs, and PLC logic systems and ability to troubleshoot these systems.
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time (within state and out of state).
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot and correct issues, escalate to leadership as needed, and log maintenance issues in CMMS.
• Document all work and maintain records for fire pumps, generators, HVAC, and other systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of major downtime events.
• Assist mechanics with two-person tasks and during high workload periods.
• Handle facility/building projects and test equipment to verify operation.
