Job summary

Boulder Housing Partners is seeking a maintenance technician to support day-to-day operations across our properties, performing semi-skilled tasks in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related areas.

Under limited supervision you will assist higher-classified technicians, perform preventive maintenance, respond to urgent issues, and help maintain safe, well-kept homes for residents while following safety procedures. Applicants may be on-call for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Building maintenance and repair experience across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC.
• Ability to perform minor troubleshooting and follow procedures for records.
• Physical ability for outdoor work, lifting, and operating hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in semi-skilled maintenance tasks on properties, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Perform interior/exterior painting, drywall repair, and carpentry.
• Support maintenance technicians and contractors in various tasks.
• Carry out irrigation, landscaping, and snow removal; be on-call for emergencies.
• Use tools and diagnostic equipment; complete work orders and paperwork.
• Maintain safety, communicate with residents, and work within schedules.
