Colorado Mountain College is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and custodial tasks across campus facilities and grounds. This role may act as a specialist or lead and supports the Facilities Manager as needed.

The position requires an Associate’s Degree with 3 years of related experience or a High School/GED with 4 years, plus relevant trade skills in electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, locksmithing, masonry, painting, carpentry, or auto

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree and three years related experience, or High School/GED and four years related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Professional training and certifications in the maintenance field desired.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) or conversational abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• May help train other employees and mentor less experienced team members.
• Serves as a back up to the Facilities Manager when needed.
• Lead or assist on designated projects or functions.
• Perform a variety of maintenance, grounds and custodian duties to keep offices, facilities, restrooms and public areas clean and orderly.
