Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for Belflower Terrace, a 180-unit affordable and senior housing community in Belflower, CA. The role covers maintenance across rental units, common areas, offices, grounds, and parking lots with on-site responsibilities.

The position requires up to on-call availability, a driver's license, and basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC. Travel is required with a pay range of $20.00–$21.00 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs per company procedures.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market-ready status.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal, including snow removal, landscaping, and trash management.
• Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies per a pre-determined schedule.
