Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain conveyors, automation, robotics, and related systems across our facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, equipment testing, and CMMS documentation to ensure safe, reliable operation.

You will analyze downtime, assist two-person tasks, and handle building project work while maintaining accurate records and learning new skills. Will travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience with conveyors, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
• Fundamental understanding of machinery/equipment.
• Basic skill level in multiple computer software packages including Microsoft Excel.
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs and stand long hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot out of service equipment and escalate issues as needed, serving as escalation point for junior technicians.
• Document all work in CMMS and maintain accurate logs for firefighting pumps, generators, HVAC, and other systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of major downtime events.
• Assist maintenance mechanics in two-person tasks or when required by operations.
• Perform building/projects work: lighting, doors, carpentry, plumbing, and related tasks.
• Assemble and test equipment to verify proper operation.
• Record production delays and initiate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure safety procedures (Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash) and PPE usage.
