Job summary

Baxter in Mountain Home, AR is seeking a Production Technician to support manufacturing and production operations, including assembly and packaging. You will set up and operate automated machinery, monitor controls, and ensure adherence to cGMP and SOPs while maintaining a safe work environment.

You will train new employees, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and keep meticulous documentation. This team-focused role offers Lean initiatives exposure and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Technical experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Ability to work with hand tools and measurement equipment.
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify process improvements on existing process and equipment.
• Participate on teams to drive improvement to processes and equipment.
• Preventative maintenance, startups and changeovers.
• Clear faults and troubleshoot equipment.
• Clean and sanitize assigned area.
• Maintain/verify documentation.
• Load tubing and equipment with parts/materials.
• Supply part bins and train new employees.
• Follow departmental safety procedures.
• Ensure products meet specifications in manufacturing areas.
