Job summary

Medline is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on conveyors, automation, robotics and related equipment. You will document work in CMMS, analyze downtime, and support building projects.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of experience in maintenance of large facilities, strong PLC/Excel skills, and the ability to travel up to 10% within the region. This on-site role requires lifting up to 75 lbs and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
• Basic skill level in Microsoft Excel and common software.
• Experience with inputs/outputs and PLC logic systems and ability to troubleshoot.
• Willing to travel at least 10% for business (within state and out of state).
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand long hours.
• Willing to learn new equipment as it is brought online.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and operate PPE safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and correct issues; escalate to leadership or senior tech as needed; log maintenance issues.
• Document all work in CMMS and maintain operation logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC, and related systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of major downtime events.
• Assist maintenance mechanics on two-person tasks and when needed.
• Undertake facility/building projects; assemble/test equipment; analyze production delays and implement corrective actions.
