Job summary

International Paper in Wooster, OH is seeking an Electrician/Mechanic for the 3rd shift. The role focuses on troubleshooting programmable controllers and motor drives, repairing drives and control systems, and maintaining equipment to maximize uptime and capacity.

You will plan, schedule and log maintenance work, follow all safety and housekeeping policies, and participate in a broad benefits package including PTO, 401k matching, medical and education support.

The Job You Will Perform

• Troubleshoot programmable controllers and A/C and D/C drives. Make necessary repairs to drives and their control system use.
• Maximum the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
• Follow-up all work orders to ensure repairs and work are preformed properly and entered into the maintenance software program.
• Plan and schedule maintenance work.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
