Job summary

International Paper Company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance professional for the Night Shift in Oklahoma City. The role requires 3 years of maintenance experience, PLC and electrical knowledge, and the ability to perform preventative maintenance and read schematics.

The position operates on the 11pm–7am schedule at the Oklahoma City Box site and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates must be able to pass the AON Maintenance Test.

Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance (corrugated experience preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of PLCs, A/C, motors and drives, schematics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Engage in preventative maintenance.
  • Basic tool knowledge.
  • Basic computer knowledge and the ability to learn SAP for work order entry and parts consumption/ordering.
  • Knowledge of mobile equipment (forklifts and boom lift).
  • Ability to read blue prints and schematics.
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel and climb frequently.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work varied hours/day.
  • Ability to lift average weighted materials, 50 lbs up to 70 lbs, occasionally.

The Skills You Will Bring:

3 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance (corrugated experience preferred)

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Basic Knowledge of PLCs, A/C, motors and drives, schematics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Engage in preventative maintenance

Basic tool knowledge

Basic computer knowledge and the ability to learn SAP for work order entry and parts consumption/ordering.
