Job summary

International Paper is seeking a full-time 2nd shift worker at the Montgomery Box Facility in Montgomery, Illinois. The role involves moving bundles of boxes, loading trucks and performing essential housekeeping tasks while maintaining accurate quality and administrative documentation.

Shift options include 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm, 3:00pm–3:00am, 11:00am–11:00pm) with some overtime and weekend requirements. Prior forklift experience is a plus, and a positive attendance record is important.

Responsibilities

• Move bundles of boxes to required locations.
• Load trucks for delivery.
• Maintain housekeeping and clean work areas.

Pay Rate

$23.27/hr for first 45 working days (probationary period). Then $25.03/hr.

Candidates must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends and overtime as required.

The Job You Will Perform

• Moving bundles of boxes to where they need to be
• Loading trucks for delivery
• The ability to practice housekeeping
• Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting
• Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions
• This person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.
