Job summary

Panduit is hiring a Maintenance Tech 2 in the United States to support conveyors, automated systems, and facility equipment on the evening shift. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe, reliable operations.

You will work to optimize downtime, coordinate with supervisors, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the mechanical systems. Opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

Highschool diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
Experience with conveyors, automated systems, and industrial trucks is expected.
Knowledge of 480V 3-phase power and PLCs is desirable.

Responsibilities

Replenish GPT machines, troubleshoot conveyors and box machines, ensure vehicles are charged.
Identify issues, provide feedback to supervisor, and suggest improvements for reliability.
Support Maintenance Tech 1s as needed.
Diagnose and repair equipment to restore optimal operation quickly.
Report findings to supervisor and collaborate with senior technicians on repeat problems.
Respond to maintenance requests with customers to deliver timely solutions.
Track materials and spare parts to minimize downtime.
Assist with installations, upgrades, and project improvements.
Use A3 and root-cause analysis to analyze problems.
