DSJ Global is partnered with a high‑volume building materials manufacturer outside Montgomery, Alabama, seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team in a continuous manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on safety, reliability, equipment performance, employee development, and operational excellence, collaborating with plant leadership to drive improvements in maintenance, production, quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
• Experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Ability to lead teams, prioritize work, and drive results in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a maintenance team within a continuous manufacturing environment.
• Drive a strong safety culture through employee engagement, accountability, training, and hazard mitigation.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability, production uptime, quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Support production operations by optimizing maintenance processes and equipment performance.
• Develop team members through coaching, performance management, training, and skill development initiatives.
• Promote employee ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Monitor maintenance workmanship and provide technical guidance to maximize productivity and effectiveness.
• Generate reports, maintain maintenance records, and perform data entry utilizing maintenance systems.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to support site objectives and long-term business goals.
