Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager for a confidential industrial manufacturing facility in Alabama.

You will help lead maintenance personnel, improve equipment reliability, and support safe, efficient production in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include coordinating daily maintenance operations, leading technicians in troubleshooting, overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance, and partnering with operations to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred.
5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with CMMS software and maintenance planning practices.
Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of industrial safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily maintenance operations and workforce coordination.
Lead and support maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and repair activities.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
Promote and enforce safety standards and maintenance best practices.
Partner with operations teams to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements.
Maintain maintenance records and support budget and cost-control initiatives.
