Commercial Metals in Birmingham, AL is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to lead the Supplier Performance Team, oversee maintenance of heavy equipment, and drive reliability across our facilities. You will plan and coordinate activities, foster a safety culture, manage budgets, and mentor staff while collaborating with management to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in maintenance, 5+ years supervisory, ability to read schematics, CMMS/SAP experience, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate activities of Supplier Performance Team and assist team as needed.
• Oversee staff training & development.
• Procure supplies and spare parts for maintenance.
• Lead meetings and drive continuous improvement for productivity and uptime.
• Develop safety culture aligned with CMC standards.
• Forecast budgets and capital requirements for maintenance.
