Job summary

Greystar in Miami is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee technical and mechanical work across community buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose issues, manage work orders, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while delivering exceptional resident service.

This role requires HVAC knowledge, EPA certifications, and the ability to manage vendors, schedules, and budgets. A valid driver's license and hands-on maintenance skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools and be skilled with hand/power tools.
• Ability to think logically to define and correct problems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing defects and repairing as per policy and safety standards.
• Oversees the make-ready process for vacant units, schedules vendors, orders supplies, and ensures timely turnover.
• Develops standards for grounds, exterior/building cleanliness and appearance to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspects work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory and collaborates with Community Manager on budget for repairs and capex.
