Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform technical work ensuring community buildings and grounds meet company standards for safety and appearance. You will diagnose issues, make repairs, manage make-ready tasks, and supervise vendor work when needed.

The role requires completing preventative maintenance, maintaining tools and inventory, and supporting budgeting for repairs while upholding Greystar's safety and service standards. A valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and be skilled in safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to identify and fix problems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in buildings, grounds, and common areas.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance to reflect Greystar standards.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and compliance with policies and safety rules.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects; monitor inventory and supplies.
