Job summary

Asset Living is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Denton, TX. The role oversees daily maintenance operations, staff supervision, and vendor coordination to ensure upkeep of the community. Expect hands-on management, safety adherence, and on‑call emergencies.

The position requires a high school diploma, EPA/CPO certifications, and basic computer skills. HVAC experience is a plus; Fair Housing/OSHA knowledge is essential. Compensation includes benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• EPA & CPO certification required; HVAC desired.
• Ability to understand and perform all on‑site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Management: oversee maintenance operations and staff.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Ensure repairs and replacements for common areas and units.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily for hazards.
• Manage and order maintenance supplies within budget.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend life of the property.
• Maintain a safe, organized maintenance shop per OSHA guidelines.
• Participate in unit inspections and on‑call emergencies as needed.
• Direct and monitor maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities.
