Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage daily maintenance, make-readies, and preventative tasks across a residential community. You will diagnose and repair issues, coordinate vendor work, and uphold Greystar standards for safety and appearance.

The role requires HVAC refrigeration knowledge, hand tools proficiency, and strong customer service. A flexible schedule includes evenings/weekends as needed, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices; safety aware.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair resident service requests and routine maintenance per standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely completion.
• Set and maintain cleanliness/appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; assist budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Support safety: conduct meetings, keep MSDS up to date, comply with OSHA and laws.
