Job summary

Greystar is seeking a full-time maintenance technician to ensure the inside and external buildings, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality at our Myrtle Beach, SC community.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing resident requests, managing make-ready tasks, coordinating with vendors, maintaining inventory, and supporting cost-control while upholding safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and safety equipment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiarity with property management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair work orders from resident requests.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Maintain grounds, buildings, and common areas to Greystar standards.
• Inspect other staff and contractors for quality and safety.
• Manage inventory and assist in budgeting for repairs.
