Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at a multifamily community. You will supervise staff, coordinate work orders, manage supplies, and ensure safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, on-call emergencies, unit inspections, and maintaining records. A High School diploma and EPA/CPO are required, HVAC experience is preferred, and on-site software proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• EPA & CPO certification required; HVAC desired.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Management
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and work orders
• Ensure all repairs and replacements necessary for community common areas and units
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify hazards
• Manage and order maintenance supplies within budget guidelines
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program that extends life of the community
• Maintain a well-organized maintenance shop and adhere to OSHA guidelines
• Maintain hazard communications program; promote safe practices
• Participate in unit inspections as requested
• Maintain accurate records of service requests and EPA/OSHA standards
• Assist with upkeep, maintenance, and cleaning of office and common areas
• Participate in on-call emergencies at the community
• Plan for and utilize resources economically
• Direct and monitor maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities
