Job summary

Willow Bridge Property Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a multi-family community. The role focuses on leading maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

The candidate should have 5+ years in maintenance, strong leadership, and hands-on expertise across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and related trades. On-site work in a residential setting with on-call duties and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ related maintenance experience; property management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to supervise and lead a team.
• Expert-level understanding in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care and appliance repair.
• Certifications preferred: HVAC, EPA & CPO where applicable.
• Strong communication with management, peers, vendors and residents to give and receive work direction.
• Expert skills with small hand and electrical tools, basic electrical, carpentry, painting and small machinery repair.
• Basic computer skills (mobile device and PC).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Available for on‑call, emergency calls and after-hours overtime.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise maintenance staff in daily activities: maintenance, installation, repairs, service requests, turns, grounds/areas cleaning.
• Hire, train and develop maintenance staff; enforce safety and company policies.
• Communicate effectively within the team; motivate and set clear expectations.
• Lead department meetings, participate in regional meetings and community events.
• Conduct regular safety inspections; train staff on chemicals, supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for installation, maintenance and repair work.
• Maintain department budget and understand financial impact of maintenance decisions.
• Prepare project specs, solicit bids, and inspect contractor work for quality and cost.
• Purchase and stock maintenance supplies and appliances efficiently.
