Job summary

West Shore is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a full-time role at one of our apartment communities. The position offers a competitive hourly salary plus a generous commission structure, medical/dental benefits, paid holidays, vacation time, and opportunities for advancement.

Under the Community Manager, you will oversee maintenance and repairs, manage staff, and ensure timely completion of work orders and make-readies while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising maintenance teams in apartment communities.
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple work orders on time.
• HVAC certification and practical knowledge required.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and oversee all workload duties.
• Ensure work orders and make-readies are completed promptly.
• Coordinate with Community Manager on projects and orders.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance on fixtures and wiring.
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Handle routine painting, carpentry and masonry tasks.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust systems.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies after hours as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean and orderly work areas.
