Job summary

Westshore is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time role at one of our apartment communities. Under supervision, you will handle all aspects of maintenance and repairs, from preparing units for new residents to electrical, plumbing, painting, and HVAC tasks, with a focus on reliability and

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or multifield maintenance a plus.
• HVAC certification required or at least demonstrated HVAC experience.
• Ability to perform electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry tasks with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Make ready units for new move-ins
• Complete grounds work (grounds cleanup, breezeways, light landscaping)
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on projects and work orders
• Perform minor electrical maintenance (fixtures, switches, outlets, bulbs, ballast)
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance (drains, faucets, leaks)
• Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry work
• HVAC systems maintenance/repair knowledge
• Diagnose problems and replace parts
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance
• Read equipment manuals for maintenance
• Respond to emergencies after hours as needed
• Work flexible hours
• Maintain clean, safe work areas
• Complete other tasks as directed
